SMILE Show and Tell (Again)
Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM (BST)
London, United Kingdom
We’re all either starting up a business or innovating a part of our existing business and getting feedback in a safe environment is precious. One-to-one mentoring allows you to get tailored and long-term support but times with the whole “family” can bring many more ideas from like-minded individuals with the understanding that In fact, that’s what a lot of you are experiencing with your mentors and mentees. How about bringing everyone together and getting the entire SMILE family together and getting feedback from your peers and loads of mentors?
At last year’s Show and Tell, we heard from an online virtual school, a platform to democratize book publishing, and a physical product to help with dementia care. This year, we will tweak the format so that there will be more opportunity for everyone to speak about their businesses and learn from each other by working in smaller groups before coming together for a bigger session.
Another departure this year is that we’ll be holding the event over breakfast, to get your brains storming in the morning! The Olympics will have concluded and Paralympics not started yet so we hope you will seize the quiet transportation days to come and join us.
Registration is open only to SMILE members (if you’re interested in getting involved with SMILE, contact firstname.lastname@example.org).
